Having studied illustration at The University for Creative Arts in Surrey, Laura’s paintings have been exhibited at galleries, salons and restaurants in and around London and were also showcased in Ibiza in 2011. In 2010, Laura created illustrations for the book, D.I.Y Fashion by Selena Francis Bryden and has since provided illustrations for the creative company Make Believe, hat designer Niamh Flannagan, Your Eyes Lie, Graduate Fashion Week and several promotional campaigns for club nights in Camden, including Exist at the Electric Ballroom. Such work has led to an influx in private commissions and, most recently, Laura has been commissioned to create imagery as part of an image overhaul at an eatery on Portobello Road. Laura’s stylized paint strokes are consistent through her body of work, something that her tutors at Art College advised she should steer away from. Ignoring their advice completely, Laura continued to hone her skills and evolve the style of painting that she loved and which today defines each piece she creates.
