About West London Art Factory
Having launched in 2010 West London Art Factory started life as a screenprinting studio, workshop space and selection of private studios for artists but has since become much more. Born out of a love for art, it is run by husband and wife team, Creative Director Jewel and Managing Director James Goodby. Since its inception it has taken on a dynamic and vibrant life of its own and has grown into something much bigger.
Origianlly based in the Perfume Factory in North Acton, the Factory has recently relocated to a larger premises in Park Royal's Duke Road. We now have our own dedicated premises purpose built for our needs. The new space consisits of 21 self contaied studios plus a much larger open plan studio which is also used for workshops and exhibitions.
We work with a number of established and up-and-coming artists who venture into a wide scope of different mediums to produce their work. This includes anything from spray can and stencil work through to oils, stained glass and acrylics. We also have a number of music studios which add another creative dimension to a busy and vibrant space.
Additional to the studios we also run various events throughout the year helping to bring exposure to our artists. Past events included two Factory Projects in Red Bull Studios and The Hospital Club in Covent Garden, pop up shops in Portobello Road where we took over Graffik Gallery and The Muse at 269. We will also continue running Open Studios twice a year.
This year we are plannig a more comprehensive schedule of workshops covering multiple disciplines. More info to follow soon.
